The Life Sciences core competency is devoted to development and implementation of healthcare solutions that support the rapid transition of research from bench to bedside, reducing costs while enhancing quality of life.

Life Sciences addresses medical and patient needs in key areas from biomedical electronics and materials technology, to embedded systems and sensors, including data communication and analytics.

The Life Sciences focus area brings the Applied Research Center’s (ARC) results-driven approach and know-how to the interface of technology and medical quality of life, including home diagnostics and telemedicine, prosthetics and exoskeleton control, and sensing devices for monitoring and treatment.
